ROLE OVERVIEW
Rawafed Private School is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Mathematics Teacher to join our upper elementary team. The successful candidate will create a positive and challenging learning environment that builds strong mathematical foundations and nurtures a love of numbers in our Grade 5 and 6 students.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons for Grades 5 and 6 in line with the American curriculum

• Use a variety of teaching strategies to cater to different learning styles and abilities

• Set and mark assignments, tests, and projects, providing detailed and constructive feedback

• Monitor student progress and implement targeted interventions where needed

• Prepare students for standardised assessments and internal examinations

• Collaborate with the Mathematics department to align curriculum delivery and share best practices

• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and areas for improvement

• Participate in school events, staff training, and curriculum development initiatives

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent)

• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably at upper elementary level (Grades 4–6)

• Strong subject knowledge and ability to explain concepts clearly and creatively

• Proficiency in using educational technology and digital learning tools

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• UAE teaching licence or eligibility to obtain one

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience teaching within the American curriculum framework

• Familiarity with differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching strategies

• Experience with STEM integration across subject areas
