ROLE OVERVIEW
Rawafed Private School is looking for an energetic and dedicated PE Teacher to inspire students in Grades 9 to 12. The ideal candidate will promote physical fitness, sportsmanship, teamwork and a lifelong appreciation of healthy living.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan and deliver dynamic PE lessons for Grades 9–12 aligned with the American curriculum

• Teach a variety of sports and fitness activities including team sports, individual disciplines, and health education

• Assess student performance across practical activities and written components

• Organise and oversee school sports events, inter-school competitions, and extracurricular sports clubs

• Promote a culture of sportsmanship, respect, and healthy competition

• Ensure the safety of students during all physical activities and maintain equipment standards

• Collaborate with the wider PE department and school leadership on curriculum development

• Support the school’s health and wellness initiatives

REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field

• Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, B.Ed, or equivalent)

• Minimum 2 years of PE teaching experience, preferably at secondary level

• Strong knowledge of sports coaching, fitness principles, and health education

• First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

• Excellent motivational and classroom management skills

• UAE teaching licence or eligibility to obtain one

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience coaching competitive school sports teams

• Specialist skills in swimming, football, basketball, or athletics

• Experience working in international or American curriculum schools
