The High School/Middle School Library

        The RPS Library offers RPS students a great place to research and get all kinds of information. The library serves two main sections, the boys School and the girls School. 

        The library subscribes to several weekly, monthly, and quarterly magazines and journals, in addition to both English and Arabic daily newspapers.

        The library serves a student population ranging in age from 11 to 17 years old, and grades 4 through 12. At the beginning of each year an orientation session is provided for all classes in order to familiarize the students with library facilities, resources and procedures.


Computer Facilities:

        Our three computer labs contains 66 full multimedia PCs, and data show projector in each lab, also the teacher’s computer is connected to the internet for extra teaching resources.


Fine Arts Department

        The Fine Arts Department at RPS has a large well-appointed theater, rehearsal areas, and two fully equipped music rooms. Students are encouraged .by our drama, instrumental and choral music teachers to develop their dramatic and musical talents, both through classroom instruction and by private lessons offered through the school.

There are one fully equipped art room, is used for grades 5 through 12. Student art work is displayed throughout the school.

Physical Education (P.E)

        The School has two large outside athletic areas which are used for many P.E activities and classes such as soccer  basketball, football, volleyball badminton, and a room for ping bong.  Changing rooms are available for both boys and girls.


Medical

        A full-time qualified nurses as well as a part-time qualified  doctor gives free medical checks ups for students and staff.  Both nurses and doctor have well equipped clinics on the school premises. The school offers vaccinations (according to guidelines outlined by the Ministry of Health) to our students.


Science Laboratories

        There are three well-equipped science labs at RPS: a biology lab, a chemistry lab and a physics lab. The labs are supervised by qualified lab technicians and are also used for external examinations. The labs are safe and are operated in accordance with international safety standards.


Cafeteria

        There are two cafeterias at RPS. ll cafeterias are closely supervised by staff. Food and services are provided by an outside contractor who is closely supervised by the school administration to ensure that the food offered is nutritious and of the highest quality.  International standards of health and cleanliness are enforced by the school medical team.
